i have written extensively about my escapades moving to panama and then fulfilling my lifelong dream of buying a motorcycle. the fact that i didn’t know how to drive one was unimportant. even though i bought it in panama city which was 2 and a half hours from where i lived at the time and i had to figure out how to get it home. it was a harrowing experience to say the least. but the rush of adrenaline as i rode into the driveway alive, it was indescribable!!!

i dont think there is anything i love more (ok, zach, yes, i love zach more) than riding my motorcycle. there is such a feeling of freedom, and the fact that you are not seeing your environment through a window, you are not observing, you are actually EXPERIENCING it. this is a wonderful thing.

there have been problems since zach and i got together because my motorcycle makes him nervous. he doesn’t want me to die. i get it. i don’t want to die either, especially not now – things are so good! but i love riding my bike, and it is extra exciting now that i have a license plate! it only took a year and a half.

i took nicolai out today and washed him so he would be nice and clean before i put on his new plate. he looks so handsome. i am so proud (and a huge nerd).
